Gap Medic Placement

General

Megan took part in the Community Healthcare Programme with Gap Medics and said: ‘I have just arrived back in Jersey after an incredible experience in the Dominican Republic! The placement was amazing and I was able to see so much in the hospitals that allowed me to understand the differences in healthcare around the world. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the orphanage whilst I was there and being able to help people in the community throughout my placement.’ Megan received a part bursary from the Pilkington Trust. If other JCG students have an overseas project planned, they should ask Mr Marett about this funding in the new term.
